"Don't Take Any Wooden Nickels"

It's a saying that has always stuck with me. My grandmother would always say it anytime I would tell her about a guy that was trying to date me. She would tell me that once I got older I would understand what it meant. To be honest with you, I think it has multiple meanings. My take on it is, be careful when dealing with people. Some people will try to tell you all the things you want to here, then be the first one to break your heart.

Don't you hate it when you really like someone, and your friends and family say that they are bad news, and they end up being right? *Laughing. I always seem to let a pretty smile cloud my judgement, but I know I am not the only one. I believe that all my dead end boyfriends have made me a stronger person. I know what qualities to look for and from now on, nobody can give me any WOODEN NICKELS!
